When we embarked on a full remodel of our newly purchased home, I was overwhelmed. I didn’t love the dark, choppy spaces or the dated feel of the house. My contractor was opposed to me hiring a designer but I needed help. I was moving from out of state so I researched designers in at Home Arkansas magazine and used social media. The moment I met the Providence Design team, I knew it was the right fit.

Kimberly was my day-to-day contact. We talked about how my family lived and what was important to us. From there, she helped decide how to change the first floor layout to better serve our needs and capitalize on the home’s best features. She managed my steady stream of questions for over a year with a kindness, thoughtfulness and professionalism I find rare. She also managed my contractor and pushed him delicately - especially when she knew I was busy or losing patience.

The hardware, paint, fabrics and furnishes were my favorite part and she guided me through choices - telling me when it made sense to splurge and identifying places I could save. We worked together to incorporate items from my previous home and she brought new options that helped lighten my space without accentuating the low ceilings she knew I hated.

It was magical! We spent a year together - talking at least every other day - and I enjoyed the process. I missed them when the project wrapped, but I’m grateful for our occasional “check in” texts when I’m considering a new piece of furniture or art. I’ve been known to stop in the storefront location just to say “hi” to Mina and Christin and see what new stuff has come in.:) I love this team, and I’d recommend them to anyone starting a home project of any size. They’ll help you enjoy the process more and be delighted with the result for years to come.

Kimberly and Christin are incredibly talented at what they do. From the moment they walked into our home, I knew we were in good hands! The girls eyed a better place in our home to move a cabinet, that essentially created a blank slate for their vision in designing for us a cozy and inviting dining space to come to life. The fabric Kimberly picked out for our dining-space draperies is absolutely stunning - absolutely, absolutely stunning! Christin designed the most beautiful floral arrangement to put the finishing touches on our dining space. My husband and I are thrilled at what these ladies have done in Phase 1 of our home-design and we’re excited to work with the Providence Design team in future phases. My experience with Providence Design was wonderful! I received a Warm welcome from the first time I visited the showroom. I explained what I was needing to Mina and she guided me through the process. Kimberly was very helpful in designing a specific area for me in my home. From the time to viewing the area in my home, to creating and proposing a design plan was less than one week, which was appreciated due to being on a tight timeline. She listened and combined my needs/wants with her eye for design along with practical considerations for the space. She and the team worked within my means and comfort level to deliver a beautiful and comfortable space! Kimberly and Zac are the Dynamic Duo! Each brought their unique talents to our remodeling and design projects in the home we recently purchased. There is sooo much more to a design project than just choosing a paint color or picking out tile. Zac and Kimberly were able to work around some daunting challenges in our home to create something lovely and lived in.
Kimberly and Zac were able to see past our current situation and look at our home with fresh eyes. We relied so much on Kimberly to educate us on the nuances/details of what to tell the person installing our tile or instructing the trim carpenter on how to run the trim around the vanity mirrors. She thinks out of the box and came up with some really amazing ideas to transform our spaces. Zac blew us away with placing the furniture, art, and accessories. His fabric choices were swoon-worthy. Kimberly and Zac are great listeners and were very patient with us. But most of all, they are such down to earth people, who put you at ease.
