Marlena and Cassandra were very helpful in the process of picking out a color for the exterior of our home. They were patient with our indecisiveness and did some mockups and emailed us what it would look like. We are very happy with the results and would recommend them highly.

I do not recommend Marlena design group. I was charged $1100.00 and got absolutely nothing for my money. Marlena is a terrible listener and incompetent. I was very clear in my instructions for help with drawings for a big exterior window project to submit to my hoa. She came back with drawings for an INTERIOR wall and said “WHAT WINDOW?!!!!” She then proceeded to charge me $185.00 an hour for it. She sent us clear across Denver to work with a window designer who left the company and no showed. My contractor told me to ask her for a refund where she proceeded to tell me I owed her more money!! I am more than happy to pay someone to do what I ask. Marlena, however, is a sloppy worker, terrible listener and I would avoid her at all costs.

I've worked with a lot of designers in this business and Marlena is has a little extra talent that really helps her connect with her customers. She can take a wide range of input and turn it into a brilliant design.

She and I worked on an interesting project together: A brand new build in a historic style, she did a great job updating the classic mission style furniture to fit more contemporary style. It turned out beautifully! and the customer loved it. (that's really the main piece)

Marlena is excellent at blending what customers are asking for, and what they need. Then designing a room that works perfectly for them.
