Yesterday, I visited Harmony Designs in Mount Vernon to shop local and support a small, Black owned business for the holidays.

Love this store, it is the jewel of Mount Vernon's shopping district. The owner Robin Harmon Myers, is an interior designer and uses the store as the backdrop for her stylish flair for interior design. It always has a soothing aroma upon entry. It is well appointed with furniture and charming, unique accents for the home or gifts for the holidays. I never leave without a purchase! Check it out!

I placed an order online, and forgot to add an idea. I immediately sent an email asking if the item could be added to my order before shipping. The owner Robin emailed me immediately and advised that she would call me for my cc#, which she did. I received my order the next day, and it even included a personalized note.
