We had booked villa Number 16 from 14-16 November for a group of 3 couples via my goa villas. Here is a detailed review on each facility/ amenity

1) Electricity:- There were frequent power cuts and upon inquiry it is a regular phenomenon in this part of Goa. The inverter was low in capacity and could not take the load for a 3 BHK. It could work only for 15-20 minutes and run fans and few lights. We spent one whole night and one morning without electricity.

2) Water Supply:- The underground water storage tanks worked on power pumps with no provision for overhead storage tanks. During power cuts there was no provision for water. Bathing had become a luxury and basic flushing water was also not available. The aqua guard was not maintained and gave a pungent smell.

3) Refrigerator:- The refrigerator did not cool its contents. It could just maintain the temperature and not chill its contents.

4) Air conditioners and fans:- The AC and fans are purely for name sake and have no practical use. The function of the living room AC was to spew hot air. The fans did not work and made more noise than circulating air. It was a disaster as the villa is closed from all sides with no provision for fresh air to enter. Therefore it was very important to have AC. A friend of ours having mild respiratory issues suffered breathing problems. He had to sleep in the terrace as there was no AC and no ventilation

5) TV units:- This overly priced expensive luxury villa still has basic LCD TV sets. No smart TV, Alexa, Fire stick. Just your grandmothers LCD TV

6) WiFi:- Any family in India needs Roti, Kapda, Makaan and WiFi to live. WiFi is a basic fundamental need in today's work. The WiFi did not work during our entire stay. The entire staff was clueless as to how to resolve this. There was no mobile network in the villa. We had JIO, Airtel and Vodafone and none of them work inside the villa. If you plan to WFH or attend online classes then it's a strict no rent for you and your family

7) General Upkeep and cleanliness:- The villa was no where close to how it is shown online. The room corners are dirty. The furniture is worn off. The utensils were not clean. Kitchen masalas were kept in the open with insects all around them.

8) Swimming pool and Jacuzzi:- The swimming pool was filled with insects and the care taker did not bother cleaning it. After begging and pleading he cleaned it the next day. The Jacuzzi is actually a bath tub as none of its features work. The back massager works in bits and pieces but the foot massager was pronounced dead by the time we arrived

9) Mattresses:- I have seen better mattresses in government hospitals. In this villa they are made from spring and not more than 6 inches. They make noises when you twist and turn in your sleep. I started to develop severe back ache and am still not recovered. There is limited foaming and uneven surface.

10) Value for Money:- We paid 24k per night for this 3 BHK villa. It is beyond expensive even for ultra luxurious and modern villas. Goa is filled with much much better villas than this loot.

11) Staff:- Let us now come to the most important piece in this travel. All our cries and pleads were regularly updated to the manager Mirella Jain (988XXXXX00). She was indifferent to all our basic needs and did not bother to provide even basic supplies like electricity, WiFi and clean water. Most of the times she did not pick up the phone. When she did she offered no help and on the opposite started to brand us. The lowest point was when we were forced to use buckets for flushing water. We cried for help but she blatantly ignored all our requests. All other villas managed by them were vacant but she did not shift us. We begged to atleast allow us to use the washrooms in the other vacant villas but she did not budge. It was inhuman behaviour after spending a fortune on this villa.

Totally not recommended and avoid at all costs. Nothing in the villa works.

Urbania Villas are good looking villas in the porvorim hills area of Goa.
Pros: If more than 20 ppl are going then the Villa would seem cheap and enjoyable. The villa is really beautiful.
Cons: There is nothing nearby..
Breakfast supplied is not very good. It does not have any buffet system. they just order it from somewhere.
The beds are not comfortable.
There is no garden or open space.
