So glad I was able to get in for a retie before my cruise! I was worried my locs wouldn’t look fresh but I was wrong. I had some locks around my perimeter that needed to be reinstalled and some locs combined that were weak. I really appreciate Leah’s knowledge and that she doesn’t hold back on telling me the truth about my hair needs so that my locs continue to flourish! The trip was well worth it the new location in NYC Metro Area is pretty great especially when looking to spend the day in the city!

Drove 4 hours from mass to NJ to get my hair repaired. Leah helped me not only understand how to take care of my locs but fixed the damage that was done prior to coming. She took the time out give me a long consultation and answer all my questions seeing as I was very worried. She is beyond friendly, informative, and caring towards her clients. Not to mention she was very accommodating for me and the person that drove me to see her. Definitely going back soon!

Leah Janae really does know what she’s doing. I travelled from Boston to the NY metro area to get my locs retied and she did them so well. She also had to help me establish my grid in the front portion of my hair. Overall she did a great job and gave me amazing tips on how to care for my locs. Thank you girl!

Great experience - I love my locs and wish I didn’t wait for this long to go see Leah! She’s simply the best. The atmosphere was just perfect and all of my questions were answered - super important as a new client. I drove for one hour for my installation and have no regrets; plan on making many more trips in the near future as I’d only trust Leah with my hair. I’d highly recommend this place - Leah knows her stuff inside out and provides great guidance and A plus service! Thanks for taking good care of me; I’ve received so many compliments and totally loving my locs!

Leah is a great loctician, very relatable and passionate. She knows her stuff so listen to her suggestions. I got my establishment almost two weeks ago and honestly I'm super happy with my sisterlocs. She is very professional. During this whole ordeal with COVID-19, she's successfully implemented protocols to assure her clients' safety. Additionally, her loc starter kit has way more than the normal kit suggested by the Sisterlocs organization. She's also very responsive to texts. Very positive experience, thank you Leah!

honestly just from my experience asking her about retie times and trying to book was unprofessional. I’m sure she does some great work, but the professionalism is lacking HEAVY. I booked an appointment for interlocking and starting talking with her after being rescheduled. I asked her some questions because I’m new and was a little confused about the timing of interlocking ( just because the person who started my hair said 2 weeks and I was intrigued) to which I get no response for days. Then I reach out one last time to say if I should wait or take my money somewhere else, to which I’m blocked. Maybe communicating with your client would help you.
