Working with Yuni and her husband was amazing! Yuni was attentive to my preferences, thorough, and went above and beyond to ensure I loved my unit's design. This included considering the specific color palette I provided, my goals for the upcoming couple of years (not just for the unit) to make the apartment conducive to productivity, and my overall aesthetic preferences.

Her husband Rudy was equally wonderful. His work was thorough and meticulous, provided excellent suggestions for adjusting to any hiccups we faced, and left everything completed as expected.

Throughout the process, both were responsive to any questions I had or suggestions I made.

Plus, they were just a pleasure to work with!

Since their work a year ago, my place has received countless compliments from guests.

Amended 4/2024: Months have passed, holidays have come and go, still no refund or word from Yuni. I have come to terms with our loss and I’m back to square one with the rooms she left unfinished, unfurnished and with such poor choice of pieces that I had to return all the items she charged me for. She was paid and still kept the items and did not refund me any of my funds. Very shady business practices! Never again, will this happen to me!

Original Review: I would not recommend Yuni to anyone!
After we discussed everything, I signed the contract and paid her to design a few spaces. She disappeared for a while without a trace after we paid her. She then requested I pay extra to accessorize and also changed the terms of the original contract. I would reach out to her several times and I wouldn’t hear from her again to finalize. She then waited 2 days before staging to reply and said it was too last minute and that she would use the things she had. She didn’t purchase anything new with the money I gave her to accessorize.

After several months, she never finished the work. The spaces were somewhat empty with old props she had from previously which I’ve returned back to her. She still owes me money from props and items she used to stage the rooms.
She also will go on social media and bash her clients and say they’re on a budget when in reality she took our money, didn’t deliver and screwed us over with low quality service!

Yuni also staged a reaction video with myself and my 5yr old daughter who’s a minor and posted it on social media without our consent. She told us to “be in shock and show how surprised you are, for the video”!
Please, do yourself a favor and find a real professional interior designer. Save yourself the headache and drama. Find someone who is accredited and credible! Yuni will take your money, disappear, lie and then leave you high and dry. In the end we lost a lot of money and now we’re back to square one, after months of waiting and wasting time! Please research and don’t focus on the good reviews, most of them are family and friends. Make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into or you’ll end up sorry like us. ?

If you want a good decorator, Yuni is not the one to choose. Both Yuni and her husband were very unprofessional. Not only did they not source the majority of furniture and decor, but constantly complained about how far they lived(this is not the clients problem)Once she is paid, she disappears and is not motivated to finish the work. She added new terms to contract, never completed any staging in 4 rooms , as she had agreed to do. We raised all these issues to her and she never offered a solution. Really bad experience!
