I reached out to Heather in late 2019 to inquire about her interest in our interior decorating project. We intended to trade out essentially all of our furnishings, given that we had just purchased this new home in Huntington Beach. My wife and I readily admit, we don't have strengths in designing the interior we hoped for, but we believed we would "know it when we saw it.

So the challenge was to describe what we were looking for to an expert who could interpret it and apply their expertise to our descriptions. Heather was just that expert. At our first meeting, she listened attentively, taking copious notes.
